Signs to Know That You're a Bookworm

Being a bookworm isn't bad, even though some people consider an insult. I consider it a compliment to be called a bookworm. All it means is that you enjoy books to the point of which that is what you do in the majority of your free time and what you spend a good amount of money on. Here I will tell some signs that I have noticed bookworms do.
1. Bookworms read a lot. Okay, this is an obvious one. If your a bookworm, then you know that you go through a book over 400 pages in less than a week. For a non-bookworm, I've noticed that this can take up to a month.
2. You get really attached to book characters. As in, you cry for five minutes when your favorite character/s die. When someone who is not a bookworm reads, normally they only let a few tears slip when no one is looking. The average bookworm will cry whole heartily whether they are at work, school, home, or on the bus.
3. You find connections to your book wherever you go. I actually do this a lot, and I'm pretty sure I'm a bookworm. I don't really know if anyone else does this, though. But finding theme songs for characters, hearing certain lines from books, or seeing other people acting like certain characters are all things I do.
4. You put yourself in the main characters' shoes. The final thing I have on this list is probably the thing I do most. When bookworms read a book, they find themselves wondering what the would do in that position. It's hard to do a lot of the time because we only have that person's perspective to rely on. We aren't in that position, so we don't know what it's like, but we still see ourselves doing this anyway.
Well, that's all I've got for this post and I hope you enjoy. Subscribe to our mailing list for more!
