What Should Happen In Allied

I am sorry I haven't posted in a while. I am still reading City of Bones, but in between I also read Ruined and Avenged by Amy Tintera. It is my new current favorite book series! (Sorry, Harry Potter.) After Avenged, I was confused and I really wanted to know what happened next. Then I realized something: *deeply inhales* The next book DOESN'T COME OUT UNTIL MAY OF 2018! I was very sad to hear that. I really wanted to read more, especially about Em and Cas. So I googled "em and cas fanfiction." And what did I find? *deeply inhales again* NOTHING! Nothing at all. Which is ridiculous, because Em and Cas are the perfect couple! They are incredible! Almost as good as Maxon and America from the Selection series. (The Ruined series is completely underrated.) So I decided to make some predictions and write about what would happen in Allied, which will be the next book in the Ruined series.

SPOILER ALERT!!!! If you have not read both Ruined and Avenged by Amy Tintera, you should not read any further. Go read them and come back.

First, Em and Cas will decide that forming an alliance between Lera and Ruina would be best for both countries, but Em has to talk to Olivia about it because she is one of the queens of Ruina. Then, Em and Olivia have an epic argument about it because Olivia wants Lera for the Ruined, and she doesn't want to form any more alliances. Then Olivia finally agrees to let Em try to make peace, if only so she can come back and say, "I told you so!" when it doesn't work out. But she also says that if Em fails, she wouldn't spare anyone's lives, not even Cas's life. Em runs back to tell Cas and apologize that she couldn't convince her and she will try her best to succeed to unite their countries. Cas tells her that they won't fail, and they will be the best king and queen either countries have ever seen. Then they kiss. :D

After that, they go into the castle and tell the Lerans and the Ruined about their plan. They are not very happy about it, but no one is hostile. Then Em and Cas finally think they can get some sleep. (Not on my watch! Yet.)

Suddenly, they hear cries, and the Oslo warriors storm down the stairs and start killing people. They thought the warriors had fled, and it took them completely by surprise. They all fight to get the warriors out of the castle. Olivia helps them, but she only does it because she hates the Oslo warriors as much as the Lerans do.

Meanwhile, Aren realizes that if the Oslo warriors are still here and they came from upstairs, Iria must be up there too. He runs upstairs and searches for her. He can't sense any humans on the second floor, but when he gets to the third, he can feel exactly where she is and he finds the room where she's locked up. (He can sense the presence of humans, but here it was just because he and Iria are soul mates and he always knows where she is.) Aren frees her. He tells her that he knows she won't want to fight against her friends and she should stay hidden. Iria tells him that the warriors are no longer her friends because they betrayed him and the rest of the Ruined, then locked her up for standing by Aren's side. She says that from now on she would stay with the people who were on her side from the beginning, which is Em and Aren. She gives Aren a hug and thanks him for always being there for her. Then Aren takes her hand and goes to help get rid of the Oslo warriors (because he is more powerful when he holds her hand).

Meanwhile, the warriors are fleeing. Em and Cas organize the chaos and the Ruined and castle staff members help heal the injured people and clean up the bodies of the warriors. Not very many Lerans were killed, and no Ruined were killed, but there are several injuries. But finally, they can all get to bed because there are a lot of preparations to be made the next day for Em and Cas's wedding that will unite Lera and Ruina permanently. Em and Cas finally get to bed. (Oh yeah!)

This is all I have so far. I am actually currently writing this like an actual story, so when I finish, I will probably post it. Thank you for reading!
